Bet types & in-play
Cricket is a natural way into bet types, since a single match carries match, innings, player and over/under markets side by side.
Singles, accumulators and each-way bets open the list. Then comes the full-cover family, ranked by size: the largest of them, the Goliath, holds 247 bets, against 57 in a Heinz, 11 in a Yankee and 4 in a Trixie. Last are bet builders, cash out, in-play streaming, ante-post and Asian handicap.
What a full-cover bet costs is plain multiplication, unit stake times number of bets. In-play betting is available from bookmakers in Great Britain; cash out is something an operator chooses to offer, not a statutory right.
